At the multi-million dollar E3 premiere of code-named ‘Project Natal’, Microsoft teamed with Cirque du Soleil for a one-time performance to unveil the new technology.
Through the internal product development and testing of Project Natal, Avenue Films was there to film the birth of this new technology. As Cirque du Soleil prepared for the unveiling, cameras rolled on production meetings, site scouting, and rehearsals, culminating in the performance for the invitation-only audience.
Filming was captured, and editing conducted up until moments before the premiere with the performance utilising footage from the lead up to the show. The completed film was eventually premiered on MTV.
